Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation Scholarship

The Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation scholarships are awarded annually to applicants that demonstrate the values of the Future Aces Creed. Successful students contribute to society by having exhibited good citizenship through community service, character-building initiatives and/or by participating in humanitarian causes.

The foundation has provided support to close to 900 students with $1,000 scholarships.

Applicant Eligibility:

  • Hold Canadian citizenship, permanent resident, landed immigrant or refugee status.
  • Be in the graduating year of uninterrupted full-time studies in high school or CEGEP.  Exceptions may be considered for those who have undertaken a gap year.
  • Student between the ages of 16 to 24.
  • Financial need is taken into consideration.

  • Applicants are graduating either secondary school or CEGEP in the current academic year.
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 16-24.
  • Applicants can be applying for post-secondary education in a non-Canadian institution.

No.  Current post-secondary students are not eligible for the scholarship program.

Yes, if you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident graduating from secondary school.

Yes, our scholarship is tenable at any accredited post secondary institution.

No. The reference signer should be a non-family member.

Reference letters must be written by a member of a charity, non-profit, religious or other community organization who has direct knowledge of your activities with the organization and the authority to sign letters on behalf of the organization. 

Applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail within 1 week of receipt of their application.

Scholarship winners will be announced within 90 days of the application deadline.
